Macquarie Bank’s benchmarking program spans multiple industry verticals, including law, insurance broking, real estate, mortgage broking, strata management and more. Combining wide-ranging quantitative research with qualitative insights from Macquarie’s sector specialists, each benchmarking study is a rich source of data covering almost every aspect of running a business in the target sector.

The challenge for the project team is to transform that data into engaging stories and actionable insights, inspiring new and existing clients to partner with Macquarie — and achieve industry best practice.

The strategy

We work with the research team and Macquarie’s sector specialists to analyse the data in-depth and identify significant findings, emerging themes and key messages for client communications. Then we work with the marketing and communications team to refine and execute a tailored content strategy for each sector.

That means developing a suite of content across channels and touchpoints, potentially including:

  • A detailed, downloadable report.
  • Video scripts and articles for online or print delivery, extending and amplifying the report findings.
