PDSs are an essential part of the financial services sales process. As an industry, we rely on them to tell customers everything they need to know about our products – both what they can do and what they can’t. So why do they so often read as if they were written by lawyers, for lawyers?

We worked with Allianz to change all that, by rebuilding their Home, Landlords and Motor Insurance PDSs from the ground up. Working with the Allianz team, we analysed customer research, complaints and call centre data to uncover pain points and areas of confusion. We stripped the current PDSs to their essentials, throwing away jargon and questioning everything. Then we built entirely new documents, designed to act as powerful educational and sales tools.

The result is a new suite of PDSs that are highly visual, superbly easy to navigate, and crystal clear.
