Since 1986, ASX’s Australian Investor Study has been the most authoritative source of information on investors’ changing behaviour, preferences and plans for the future.

In 2023, we worked in partnership with the ASX team and researchers from Investment Trends to analyse the results of an in-depth survey of 5,500 Australian investors, identifying the most revealing data points and key insights. Then we used our information design skills to translate that complex dataset into a clear and compelling report that could be easily scanned and digested by multiple audiences, including investors, brokers, product issuers and the media.

With deep dives into topical themes including cryptocurrencies, ESG investing and digital advice, the 2023 Investor Study paints a fascinating picture of the Australian investment landscape. Warmly received by trade and national media, the report’s design also enabled ASX to amplify its impact via social media, direct mail and digital channels, with infographics and snackable pieces targeting specific audiences.
